Northwestern University in collaboration with MOOC platform Coursera is offering innovative, new massive open online courses (MOOCs) in fall 2015, including Introduction to Reproduction and two new specializations -- one focusing on leadership and another on social marketing.

The Organizational Leadership Specialization features four Northwestern deans and 10 faculty members teaching a five-course series with a capstone project and a certificate for completion. The five courses examine high-performance leadership through team building, negotiations and conflict resolution; communications and storytelling; social influence; marketing; and design innovation. It launches in October.

The Social Marketing Specialization -- also with five courses, a capstone project and a certificate for completion -- will teach students to design a social media strategy, engage online communities and assess business impact. It starts today (Sept. 15).

The Introduction to Reproduction MOOC is a crash-course in human reproductive health through fact- and biology-based information on a variety of topics. It will cover reproductive anatomy, key biological changes during puberty, sexual biology and contraceptive methods, reproductive disorders and a special introduction to the field of oncofertility. It begins Sept. 28.

Hi,

It is not possible to reach the "Contact" for the Coursera HelpDesk Team.

I have enrolled as a Data Science signature track for the entire course, and according to the instruction, I should be able to access all the courses as many times as I need until July 2017. Knowing that I have two years, I don't rush to complete the course and were comfortable to repeat until I know about the subject.

However, for some unknown reason I cannot open the new course I haven't finished before, and I cannot go back to the course to finish.

Once I was able to write the "Contact" to ask for a help on this situation, but now it is completely blocked saying that my account has been suspended.

I have asked to fix this problem, but nobody seems take an action nor reply my enquiry at all. I am taking 'Regression Models' now as I can access to this course, but not the previous four courses.

Any way to solve this problem?

Many thanks in advance,
Sun

Hi Carolyn,

Thank you for your prompt reply. You are the first person ever replied to my enquiry.

I never knew about this change. All I remember is that I have two years and I can repeat the course as many as I want for the next two years. Trusted what I was informed when I purchased the specialisation course, after completed the first two courses I enrolled the course 3, 4, 5 and 6 out of curiosity, but kept taking the course 3. Now I cannot access all these four any more.

Worst part is I only have a message when I click the Help Centre, "Sorry, your account has been suspended," and it is not possible to approach them.

When it is free, I can take as many times as I can, but when I am taking the specialisation course and pay for it - it is limited. Then why should I pay for them? I really want to pull it out from the specialisation course.

How to contact them do you know?

Please help me to get out of it.

Thank you.

It seems Coursera make it very difficult for their learners to contact them directly with this type of problem. Their Terms state that they may
suspend, disable, or terminate a user's access to all or part of the Services.
and there doesn't appear to be a way of contacting them other than via the Help Center.
I suggest you try opening a new account with them with a different e-mail address and submit a help request using this link: Coursera Help Center
Hope that helps :)
