Some Coursera courses and Specializations require a subscription to get paid access. This means you pay a fee every month for the course or Specialization until you complete it, instead of making a one-time payment..

Specializations don't have a free audit option. Instead, they offer a 7 day free trial when you enroll. If you want to get free access to the course materials, you can do so by signing up from the individual course pages.

When you subscribe to a Specialization, your payments will automatically end once you complete all the courses in that Specialization.

If you start a subscription to a course that is part of a Specialization, you will be automatically subscribed to the entire Specialization. You will have access to all courses in that Specialization as long as your subscription is active.

Your subscription will not stop after you complete the course you subscribed to. If you are just interested in a single course, you will need to cancel your subscription after completing this course in order to stop the recurring monthly charge.

Click here to find out how to cancel your subscription.
