Someone told me one day the difference between passion and talent with a simple example.

- "I love singing"
- "But you can't sing"
- "I know but I love it"
- "Yes but your voice is not meant for that"
- "Indeed but I am passionate about singing"

That person has a big passion for singing but will never be a singer because the talent is missing.

You could suck at programming (no talent for it) but if you have passion (love it) it could be enough. Big difference with singing.

In the programming world, I would say that 85% of developers are not talented for development. They do a fair job and nowadays they mostly do copy paste from Stackoverflow. The other 15% are the ones that write the solutions to the questions and create open source software and algorithms.

In conclusion, with enough effort and hard work you will be a decent developer and enjoy the life of writing code for living. You don't need to understand everything from the computer language you select, just make sure you continue getting better so you don't suck too much.

Keep on programming, you will get better. And who knows you may be talented and you don't know it yet.
