There are probably some questions you should ask yourself first. Why do you think you’re having trouble finding work? How do you think Flatiron School can help you?

Are you lacking in technical skills? If so, the Learn-Verified Full Stack Web Developer program program could be a great fit. It’s not an easy curriculum, and you’ll have to work hard to get through it. But there’s a tremendous amount of support and if you do complete the curriculum, we’re confident enough in your skills that we’ll give you a full refund if you’re not employed.

We have an incredible job support team that’s successfully worked with students ranging from underrepresented groups without college degrees to Ivy league graduates and entrepreneurs. We’ll coach you through the job search with one-on-one consultations, comprehensive resume reviews, and tested tips that will help you snag the job you want. As long as you put in the work, we will put our all into making sure you achieve your goal. Feel free to read more of the details at learn.co/verified.

It’s also possible that you’re doing fine technically, but there’s something else going on.

For example, Flatiron School takes a data-driven approach to admissions. We measure candidates throughout the process on factors like culture fit, aptitude, and technical background. Over the years, we’ve found the single element that has the strongest correlation to success is passion. Not just passion for tech or startups (though those are great things) — passion for the work itself. Unfortunately, some people decide to head down this path before they realize they’re truly passionate about it. That’s why the Learn-Verified program requires about 30 hours of work before you even apply. We want to know that you’re truly engaged in this.

Since you graduated, do you find yourself working on code every day, or is it a slog? There is a possibility that this just isn’t for you. And if it’s not, that’s okay. You’ve picked up a valuable skill but should move on to something that does inspire you sooner rather than later.

There are a million other reasons why you might be struggling and ultimately only you can find the right answer. If you would like to discuss your particular situation send us an email at admissions@learn.co and we’ll find a time to chat :)
