Ever wonder how people figure out what data is telling them? Do you question how to make sense out of a bunch of numbers? How do you filter out what’s valuable when it comes to data? How do you use it to make better decisions, address big challenges or tell a story that will rally people’s support?

In this new Specialization developed by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, USA, you’ll learn how better understanding, filtering, and application of data can help you solve problems faster, with smarter and more effective decision-making. You’ll gain experience with key tools and applications used in data analysis, and you’ll learn to present data to others in a way that gets them engaged in and motivated by the story being told by the data.

The Specialization includes four courses (Data-driven Decision Making, Problem Solving with Excel, Data Visualization with Advanced Excel, and Effective Business Presentations with Powerpoint) and culminates in a hands-on Capstone Project. Each course draws on the real-world knowledge and experience of PwC leaders from around the globe, so you know you’re building practical skills as well as a holistic understanding of the role that data plays in today’s business environment.

The Data Analytics and Presentation Skills Specialization is the first in a series of courses and Specializations developed by PwC in collaboration with Coursera. Courses are designed around topics that address big global issues, and draw on the real-world knowledge and experience of PwC leaders from multiple disciplines. By collaborating with Coursera, PwC hopes to play a part in building a generation of confident leaders who can inspire trust in others and be ready to solve important business and social problems.
