You’ve probably seen graphs like this one:
If you believe this graph, the ones that say it’s easy will be the noobs and the pros - where confidence is highest.
In reality, I don’t believe I’ve met pros that say it’s easy (at least not without adding “but”) - that curve is more likely just a sine wave, where as soon as you become kind of confident, you find something else, some other aspect of computer programming that you had never thought of, and your confidence goes down again. And once you realize it’s a sine wave, then it stops making much sense to talk about “hard” and “easy”, “confident” or “not confident” - it is what it is, and that’s that…
