And we will never sell your data to anyone.
Free Code Camp is an open source community. We got where we are thanks to the passion and hard work of hundreds of people.
We don't have any investors who can tell us what to do. And we intend to keep it that way.
We do have costs, of course. In the short run, we can cover these by selling cool Free Code Camp gear in our shop.

We plenty of ideas for how we can cover our expenses as we grow, which I've explored a bit here.
Free Code Camp is an ideological endeavor. We envision a world where any motivated person can become a professional software engineer - at their own pace, from anywhere, for free.
Already, hundreds of our students have done just that, and are now working as software engineers.

Success is thousands of strangers in cities like Brasilia, Seoul, and Delhi, meeting in public spaces, becoming friends, and learning to code together.
Our open source community has the opportunity to train the next generation of software engineers, who will literally build our global civilization's future.
That is worth more to us than all the money in the world.
