Unless you're really concerned about performance at scale, stick with stacks you know and focus on mastering JavaScript. Learn a client-side JavaScript tool like AngularJS or ReactJS. Then you can build modern Single Page Applications and just consume an API written in whichever backend language you've chosen.
Some people may try to dissuade you from mastering JavaScript. Just keep in mind the famous quote from Bjarne Stroustrup, the creator of C++:
