Wikipedia ranks highly. Also, I must give credit to Quora and Twitter. Quora enabled me to discover the subjects that correspond to my personal interests. Twitter enabled me to further stimulate those interests by following specific domain experts. Facebook deserves a mention as well, but it is less good at serving either purpose.

Below are a few other sites that I regularly follow:
1) Farnam Street – Review of books about how to think better and how to make better decisions. Very popular amongst professional investors. (Farnam Street is the name of the street that Warren Buffett grew up on)
2) Paul Graham’s Essays – Renaissance man, writes clearly and concisely about a variety of thought-provoking topics.
3) Wait but Why—A more humorous version of Paul Graham
4) Raptitude—Explicit advice on how to raise one’s emotional intelligence.
5) Taylor Pearson—Similar to Farnam Street, with a bigger focus on entrepreneurship and much less focus on book reviews.
6) Mark Manson– Similar to Raptitude, with a predominant focus on relationships

The 6 websites above all evoke the principles of humanism, stoicism & rationalism. If you enjoy that type of stuff, I would highly recommend!
