Harvard@Home offers more than 60 free customized multimedia-rich programs on topics ranging from the arts to social sciences, from history to current affairs, from literature to science and math. Beyond the featured programs, users can browse a full list of courses. The study resources are primarily video based showing current, real-life Harvard University lectures or recent University panels, Alumni College forums, and other special events. Some courses also include some text-based material, slides, images and quizzes. The course site and format varies from one course to another, but usually provides a course overview, links to the course resources, instructor biographies, related resources and sometimes the option to give feedback on the course in an online survey.
No registration is required and Harvard@Home does not grant degrees or certificates.
