If you have a Mac, you download the Learn app after creating a free account and signing up for the qualifying track.
If you have a PC, you follow the same steps, but receive a free Nitrous.IO environment upon signing up. You’ll use Nitrous throughout the Learn-Verified experience — this means that each time you come to Learn to work on a lesson, you get a link to open the Nitrous environment in your web browser to start working on your lab.
Since the Learn platform requires users to push code up to GitHub, if you change to a Mac in the middle of going through the Learn-Verified Full Stack Web Development program, your progress will be saved on all GitHub repositories, making for a seamless transition.
