What subjects are best suited to studying online?

Are there any particular subjects which you can learn better online than others? If so, what would they be? For example, I know that computer programming can easily be learnt online, but are there other subjects which are particularly well suited to an online learning environment?

I don't think it's necessarily about the subject of the course. It's more about how the course is built and if it is structured to suit the subject.

I would say literary subjects like literature or history don't work so well unless there is a really active learner community in the course discussion forums
