CourseTalk’s newest provider, Kadenze, is out to fill the online gap in art and creative technology education through a highly-specialized platform.With features like uncompressed audio uploading and storage space for portfolios, Kadenze (pronounced kah-den-zay) seeks to be the online home for students of creativity. The company has partnered with schools like Princeton and the Paris College of Art to offer classes from the world’s top artists and engineers. And get this: Nearly half of Kadenze’s classes are available for college credit — at $300 per credit.
If you’re not looking to spend money, you can enroll in any Kadenze course free. You’ll have the ability to watch video lectures and participate in forum discussions. Or, for $7 a month, you can upgrade to a premium membership (required for college credit), which allows you to submit assignments, receive grades, build a portfolio, earn a verified certificate of accomplishment, and receive discounts on course materials.
