I started programming in a response to a prank.
A friend installed a virus on my computer that made it unusable for 24 hours as a prank.
I learned C++ very quickly (in 2 hours), skipping over the main details and got him back by accidentally burning out his CRT screen (it was an accident! I promise!). That was due to some bad I/O loops I wrote, and apparently, the book I learned from was a very hasty translation from English to Korean, so many parts were unclear.
From then on, I knew that there is great power in programming, but also great danger.
