The first courses offered by the University of Edinburgh are Introduction to Marketing: Tools to Set Enterprises Apart and Statistics: Unlocking the World of Data.
The Introduction to Marketing: Tools to Set Enterprises Apart course teaches the skills, strategies and tools necessary to develop successful marketing campaigns at the enterprise level. The course looks at the ways that successful companies are using marketing to drive revenue and increase profits. In addition, learners will study how marketers use segmentation, targeting, positioning, branding, design, pricing, channels and integrated marketing communications to create compelling brand stories and foster brand loyalty.
The Statistics: Unlocking the World of Data course examines the fundamental methods and ideas that shape the discipline of statistics. Learners in the course will develop ways to evaluate and understand the many statistics they encounter in their everyday lives – from medicine to finance to engineering – by delving into the data that surrounds all aspects of the world.
The Introduction to Marketing course is currently running self-paced and is open for enrollment now. The Statistics course is also open for enrollment and begins on January 11, 2017. Both courses are designed for learners with no previous knowledge in either marketing or statistics.
The launch of these two courses from The University of Edinburgh marks an exciting start to our ongoing partnership and we look forward to sharing news of more courses in the future.
