I already use Excel at work, but would like to learn to use it in more depth. Please share your recommendations of online course providers with good free or low-cost courses in Excel.
Thanks

There are quite a number of online course providers that offer courses on Excel in varying degrees of depth. I've put together a list of links for you to explore below:
I've been looking for a way to learn Excel with a real-world project. A lot of tutorials and courses seem to assume a business setting, with access to associated data to work with, but I don't have that. Sure, I could 'pretend', but I don't think it would be as meaningful for me to understand. If there was a course for learning Excel to manage personal finances or tracking health and well-being metrics, that would be really useful. Has anybody seen anything like that yet?

The thing I'm wondering about with those courses is whether they're roughly comparable to one of the Lynda intro courses. They sound quite basic, going off the course descriptions. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Yes, these courses will be comparable. I think you will struggle to find more in depth online courses in the specific areas you are interested in. My suggestion would be to determine what it is you want to achieve using Excel, and then use the many tutorials that are available to learn how to implement your goals.
