In fact, we are running the first coursera class from College of Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University right now. It is on the topic of thermodynamics, titled “Statistical Thermodynamics: Molecules to Machines." The class is aimed at an advanced undergraduate level; students with a background in algebra and differential equations should find the course accessible.
