We are excited to bring Red Hat’s courses to edX learners, who are looking for the technology skills they need to succeed in the workplace of the 21st century.
The first course offered by Red Hat is Fundamentals of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, an introductory course to Linux using Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 as a model. Linux systems are used everywhere – from consumer products to enterprise systems – and is a key operating system for many technology employees to be familiar with.
This skills-focused course will provide an overview of how a Linux system is organized, and will demonstrate introductory system administration tasks using real-world scenarios and use-cases that learners will be able to practice and apply on their own. Learners will also take away a broader understanding of Linux and open source, and why these systems are important in today’s computing environment.
