Doubt on the topic of "rotations" in the Khan Academy, Basic Geometry course

In all the exercises from this topic, what confuses me is the tense in which the first statement has been made.
It's that "was rotated" that puzzles me... because for me it's like saying: "Q is the image already" so I'm trying to figure out the pre-image, rather than the image. But it says that I should find the image, which in my understanding shouldn't say "was rotated" but maybe, "will be rotated"
I'm not a native English speaker and I guess my misunderstanding is related with this fact...
Could anybody help me elucidate what is the misunderstanding here? Thanks in advance.
