Colorado State University, a land-grant institution and a Carnegie Doctoral/Research University-Extensive, is one of the United States’ leading research universities, with world-class research and academic programs in infectious disease, atmospheric science, clean energy technologies, human and animal health, environmental science, global business and more.

Founded in 1870 in Fort Collins, Colorado State has more than 33,000 students, and annual research funding of more than $300 million.
