MOOC Platform openSAP

Since 2013, openSAP has been providing free Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) to everyone interested in learning about SAP’s latest innovations and how to survive in the digital economy.

All courses including a final exam are offered free of charge (except for optional system access) and are open to anyone. They are categorised into two channels: Enterprise MOOCs which focus on key SAP innovations and are delivered by SAP internal teams, and Thought Leaders courses which focus on digital innovation and transformation independent of SAP-specific topics. These are delivered by non-SAP industry leaders in business and academia in addition to thought leaders from SAP. Most openSAP courses consist of video units, self-tests, discussion forum, weekly assignments and a final exam. Content is released on a weekly basis and you can access the content at any time, from anywhere and on any device.

Upon a successful completion of an openSAP course, you can download a record of achievement from openSAP, and a confirmation of participation will be issued to those who have completed at least 50% of the course material. The courses are scheduled with a start and end date, but at the end of a course, the materials remain available in the self-paced area. The only difference is that you can no longer contribute to the discussion forum, participate in the weekly assignments and final exam, or earn a record of achievement. You can still earn a confirmation of participation.

openSAP courses are particularly suited for professionals who wish to improve and deepen their practical IT know-how, those who want to acquire the latest IT knowledge to advance their careers, or anyone with an interest in IT topics.

The openSAP platform is developed and provided by SAP in cooperation with the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI).
