IMC’s OpenCourseWorld offers free, flexible online courses as part of its commitment to personal development and education. These MOOCs are particularly geared towards those who for financial or geographical reasons would not normally have access to such training. Each MOOC on OpenCourseWorld offers various types of content which could include video lectures, documents with lecture slides and scripts, case studies, practical exercises, animated web-based trainings and automated tests in multiple-choice or single-choice formats. All the courses can be accessed free of charged and there are no restriction to enrol. After the successful completion of a course, participants can purchase a certificate for € 95, - or € 45 for students (evidence of study required).
All OpenCourseWorld MOOCs are compatible with smartphones and tablets - so you can complete your MOOC at home, at work or on-the-go. The platform also offers organisations such as universities, research institutions or public/private companies the opportunity to offer courses in OpenCourseWorld in cooperation with IMC.
Currently the platform is available in German and English.
