Online Master's in Development and Humanitarian Action

This online Master's in Development and Humanitarian Action, developed in association with Save the Children, is provided by Australia's Deakin University via UK based MOOC platform, FutureLearn.

Students can choose between three different credentials depending on their goals and needs:
  • Graduate Certificate - 4 programs
  • Graduate Diploma - 8 programs
  • Masters degree - 16 programs
Prerequisites:

Deakin University offers admission to postgraduate courses through a number of Admission categories. In all categories of admission, selection is based primarily on academic merit as indicated by an applicant’s previous academic record.

To be eligible for admission to this program, all applicants must also meet the minimum English language requirements.

To be eligible for entry into the Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma or Master of Development and Humanitarian Action applicants require:
  • a bachelor degree from an approved institution
  • or qualifications deemed to be equivalent
  • or extensive relevant work experience undertaken at a senior level as deemed appropriate by the Course Selection Team.
Pricing:
Tuition fees for the master’s degree range from A$30,000 to $40,000 (£18,000 to £24,000), while the graduate certificate and the diploma each cost A$13,140.
