You’re hilarious. Seriously, no…it’s not too late. Why would you think that?

Many people I know who are professionals in CS today didn’t even do CS for their undergrad. It was their second career, or something they just fell into. That hasn’t stopped them from making over $120k or more per year in NYC at top companies. One friend of mine is in Seattle, was (is) a professional musician, but now he’s a full time programmer. He’s not just successful, but wickedly good at it. I’ve been doing this stuff for over 25 years now—but I’m a little concerned he might be better than me. He started doing this as a hobby like 4 years ago. So yeah, no, it’s not too late.

Yes it is already too late. I talk from experience.

GitHub will delete any repository you create as soon as they find out you didn't start at 6.

Any code you write will be be deleted by your peers, regardless of quality.

Amazon won't sell you any programming books, and no University will want you because you are too old already to learn programming.

In fact, you can stop learning anything at all, because what matters is not what you can achieve with your skills in this world, but the age at which you started developing them.
