Overview
RefactorU is primarily a campus-based bootcamp focusing on front-end development such as fullstack JavaScript, but they also provide a number of online courses either “a la carte” or through 3 subscription packages with options for mentorship. All plans include a 10 day free trial, and start at $25/month for the self-guided model, or students can opt for a mentor-guided option for $250 or $850 a month depending on how much mentor support is offered. The mentor network consists of Codementor.io Mentors, whom RefactorU has partnered with to provide 1:1 expert mentoring anywhere in the world. In some cases, RefactorU may also use current and former RefactorU instructors and teaching assistants as mentors. The courses are delivered completely online, via the Internet. Lectures are pre-recorded and all course resources (readings, exercises, solutions, etc.) are available online. All 3 subscription plans allow students to apply credit towards RefactorU's On-Campus Courses, and cancellation is possible at any time.
