We've been pretty busy here at MoocLab working on new features to help promote quality online education and to help learners like you gain access to affordable options that are available to you.
Our latest project has been the launch of a job board which aims to connect online learners with employers who recognise the value of continuous learning of skills that online education provides. Many of the listed vacancies are with providers of online courses themselves, such as Coursera, edX, Khan Academy, Udemy and more. Click here to browse jobs
We have also joined up with leading online course providers to run prizedraw competitions giving our users a chance of winning free courses. In October, 5 lucky MoocLab members won a free upgrade to any course on the MOOC platform, Futurelearn. And we are currently running a prizedraw competition with Excel With Business offering you a chance to win a free Microsoft Excel course normally worth £59. To continue our work with promoting quality online education, we have been busy reviewing our Directory of MOOC Providers, updating the existing listing and adding new platforms for you to discover. This is an ongoing process, and we will soon be publishing our League Tables for 2018. So, watch this space!
We have also made some changes to our Private Messaging Service. This is a particularly useful tool for our Study Buddies to connect with other like-minded students wishing to share their learning journey. Now, regular MoocLab members can start new conversations with other members free of charge, and send 1 reply per private message. You can upgrade for just £2.99/month if you wish to send more replies. Upgrading to Premium Membership also gives you other benefits which you can discover here.
