Disclaimer: I do a lot of MOOCs and I'm a hiring manager.
If by worth you mean that a Coursera specialisation will be considered a plus by a hiring manager, it depends on the hiring manager. I'd certainly appreciate someone that has invest his own time and money to learn. Other hiring managers won't, unfortunately as far as I know most people are not even aware so they cannot value it. If this is what concerns you, I would say, nowadays it's not worth it.
If by worth you mean investing your money in your continuous growth and education, well... that's easy: yes! But you don't have to. Coursera MOOCs are free and you only have to pay if you want a verifiable certificate or to complete the capstone projects. The only specialisation that I paid for, I did it for the capstone. I wanted that experience.
