The CompTIA A+ certification is widely recognised by employers as a valued credential for high-growth IT support roles. Now, by completing the Google IT Support Professional Certificate and passing the CompTIA A+ certification exams, learners can earn the dual credential from CompTIA and Google, a badge that can then be shared on LinkedIn.

"We're excited to offer learners the chance to receive a dual credential for completing the Google IT Support Professional Certificate and CompTIA's new A+ exams," said Natalie Van Kleef Conley, Google Product Lead. "We believe that Google's hands-on program, combined with CompTIA's A+ exam, will give learners a clear path to advancing their skills and displaying their capabilities to employers."

About the IT Support Professional Certificate

The IT Support Professional Certificate is available on Coursera and is made up of 5 courses designed to prepare you for an entry-level role in IT support. The program aligns with the objectives covered by the CompTIA A+ exam and will introduce you to troubleshooting and customer service, networking, operating systems, system administration and security, and includes a mix of video lectures, quizzes, and hands-on projects enabling you to build a portfolio that showcases your job readiness to potential employers. Additionally, those who earn the Google IT Support Professional Certificate get access to exclusive resources to help them to find their first IT support job.

After completing the Google certificate program, learners can download the CompTIA A+ exam objectives to ensure they have studied everything they might be tested on and use study tools to set themselves up for exam success.

Smucker, Infosys, Intel, KForce, MCPc, PNC Bank, RICOH USA, Sprint, TEKSystems, UPMC, Veterans United Home Loans, Walmart and their subsidiaries.
