MOOC Certificate Authentication

Add your certificate verification URL for authentication

A verified online course or MOOC certificate is an official credential that confirms that you successfully completed a course.

Generally, a verified certificate includes the following information:

  • The course name
  • The instructor's signature
  • The logo of the partner institution offering the course
  • A confirmation of the learner's identity
  • In some cases, a verification URL that allows others to check the Certificate's authenticity

The verification URL allows you to prove that your certificate is genuine and that you completed and passed a course.

By submitting your certificate verification URL to our database, potential employers or academic institutions can easily get your credentials verified by our MOOC Certificate Clearinghouse.

For information on finding your certificate verification URL, see our Guide: How to share your MOOC certificates
