Think of it as bridge to getting these jobs, studying for a nano-degree is helpful in many ways,

• It sharpens your skills in a certain field.
• It gets you to a level where you can apply for related jobs with confidence.
• You build some interesting practical projects while pursuing it .
• You can include these projects in your resume to make it stand out in selection phases.
• It can introduce you to recruiters or employees who might recommend/refer you internally.
• Top graduates might get direct offers from Udacity’s partners.

So long story short, it will help you as much as the effort you put in it.
