Overview
The CodePlayer offers a slightly different approach to learning to code by playing code like a video, helping people to learn front end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, Jquery easily, quickly and interactively. The free video “walkthroughs” demonstrate in real-time how others have created a particular effect, element, page or app from scratch. For example, you can see how to code a 3D HTML form, or create a Matrix style rain animation simply by viewing the code or playing a video walkthrough of the code being written in real-time. The video walkthroughs have speed control options allowing you to study the code at your own pace and each lesson comes complete with a video, in-depth description and a commenting tool allowing users to ask and answer code related questions.
On opening a tutorial, users can read the description and view the finished product. You can choose to play the walkthrough or view the code. On launching a walkthrough, the finished product appears on the right side of the screen as the code is written on the left.
Once you feel confident enough, you can start creating your own presentations to teach others.
