MoocLab has hundreds of Study Buddy Members all looking to find their perfect online study partner.

Here are some tips on finding yours:

Make sure your profile is complete - By giving detailed information about yourself in your profile, other members will be able to see at a glance if you might be a suitable study partner. When you register as a Study Buddy, fill in as many of the fields as possible, and make sure you let others know more about you in the "about me" field.
If you have already registered as a Study Buddy, you can always update or complete your profile here.

Upload an Avatar - An Avatar is a picture or image that represents you. When you upload a personal Avatar, it appears next to your Username and on your profile page. Members who have an Avatar stand out more and are much more likely to find a Study Buddy. If you haven't already done so, see how to upload your avatar here.

Select your search criteria carefully - When you start your search for a Study Buddy, remember that the more criteria you enter, the less results you will get. So, if you don't find the right person straight away, only put in the criteria that is most important for you. You can always narrow down your search later.

Get in touch - If you see a member who looks interesting to you in the search results, get in touch with them to find out more. To do this, click on their username or avatar to go to their profile page. You can then click on "Start Conversation" to send them a private message. Don't be afraid to contact several potential study buddies to keep your options open.

Check back often - With new members joining everyday, it's important to check back regularly to see if there are any new Study Buddies you could connect with. The Study Buddy Members Page always features the latest Study Buddy members.

Share your experiences - If you successfully find an online study partner, share your story so others can learn how you did it and how you went about studying together.
