Hi! I'm a BSN prepared nurse that found a passion for analytics and research.
Areas of study:
Health/Nursing Informatics
Data Analysis
Programming
I'm currently working on my master's in Nursing Informatics. I'm about 1/3 the way through my program and am looking for people to study with because, though I love what I'm learning, I am a terrible chronic procrastinator! I want to build better study habits as well as work on other skills like software programming/coding to be able to begin a medical software personal project. I'm very friendly, nonjudgmental, and a good person to bounce ideas off of! Feel free to say hi!
Hi, I am studying Masters in Computer Application (MCA) from Indira Gandhi National Open University. I have a background of Science as well as Technology. I graduated with Chemistry Major and Physics and Mathematics minors. Biology and Psychology were my electives. I have a post Graduation in Data Analytics. Regarding my work experience I worked as a Business Analyst and then Data Analyst for 2+ years. I am currently a trainer. I am proficient in Python and have basic knowledge of R, C, Java, Javascript, Sql, HTML, CSS. I am looking for a study buddy with whom I can discuss Computer Science related things, study if they are interested in same topics and do some coding together
I enjoy learning and the intake of fresh knowledge but the process is a little slow in dragging myself to plop down in my chair and pick up my pencil and start on another 8 hour stretch of studying, whether it will be the frustrating AP's, AMC 10's, biology, or SAT. I am understanding, conversational, and very motivated but translating all of that motivation and goals into hardwork is another matter. I need a person on the other end to keep tabs on me and remind me not to be sucked into a reverie or nose deep into my ficitonal reading book. For me I found it extremely effective to work under somebody's eye and very encouraging and fun with somebody who shares the same goals and strives toward the same things.
I am a Microsoft Office Specialist Master, and a MCSA in BI reporting. I took one year of python, and am now studying on my own. I would love to find someone else interested in learning the python language to study with. No particular course as yet, but I have been going through the Fluent Python book available online.
